A quiet dental treatment room lit by afternoon daylight

General & cosmetic dentistry · West Sahara Avenue

Some of our patients have been coming here for thirty years.

Dr. Greg Bowman has practiced in the same Las Vegas office for more than three decades. One dentist, the same small staff, and people who started as kids now bringing their own children in.

The practice

A small office that has never needed to advertise.

Dr. Bowman runs a single-dentist practice on West Sahara Avenue. The front desk knows patients by name because the same people have worked there for most of thirty years.

There is no rotating roster of associates and no quota of chairs to fill, which is why appointments tend to run on time and why treatment plans stay short. If you are nervous about the dentist, say so when you call — a good share of this practice is people who avoided dental care for years before coming in.

Same-day crowns

A crown in one visit. No impression tray, no temporary.

The office mills permanent porcelain crowns on site. A tooth that would normally take two appointments and two weeks in a temporary is usually finished in a single morning. Same porcelain, fitted and cemented the same day.

“I had two permanent porcelain crowns made there today in only a couple of hours with no impressions or temporary crowns.”

What the office does

General and cosmetic dentistry for adults, teenagers and families. If something here needs a specialist, Dr. Bowman will tell you and refer you rather than attempt it.

Dr. Greg Bowman, DDS

Thirty years in one chair, in one town.

Patients describe the same three things over and over in their reviews: that he explains what he is doing, that he does not oversell, and that the staff have been there long enough to know them.

“He is beyond professional, as well as very personable, all while providing top notch quality work.”

Not a single review below five in twelve years. These are quoted exactly as written.

I have a very sensitive mouth and have hated going to the dentist since I was a child. Dr. Bowman and his staff have been caring and sensitive and I now can see him without cringing. Margaret Thompson · patient of 20 years
We have been with Dr. Bowman and his office family for over 32 years. There is absolutely no one like him. Llyse Johns
Have been going to Dr. Bowman since I was a kid. He and the staff are just amazing. They make you feel at home just like family. Guinevere Torres

Cost & insurance

You will know the price before we start.

The most common question people ask about this office is whether there are hidden fees. There are not, and here is exactly how it works.

Call and ask about your plan

Are there hidden fees?
No. You get the full cost of any treatment in writing before you agree to it, along with what your plan is expected to cover and what it is not. If something changes once we are in the tooth, we stop and tell you first.
Do you take my insurance?
The office works with most PPO dental plans. Call with the name of your plan and the front desk will check your specific coverage before you come in, so there is no surprise at checkout.
What if I do not have insurance?
Say so when you book. You will be quoted the cash price up front, and the office will tell you honestly what needs doing now and what can safely wait.
Are you taking new patients?
Yes. Call (702) 363-8001 and ask for a new patient exam.
I have not been to a dentist in years.
That is common here and nobody will lecture you about it. Come in for an exam, find out where things actually stand, and decide what to do from there.
